Pros

Convenient location, down town with free parking. Good perks such as free food and kitchen supplies. Co-workers are a blast!

Cons

Wasserstrom has spiraled downward from a company that cares for it's employees and attempts to make them happy to keep customer service at it's best, to another "call center" that's okay with high turnover rates and overall low moral. They were not prepared for the transition to the new computer system, and the employees are bearing the brunt of it. Instead of using this as an opportunity to treat the employees to little moral building things like jeans days and outings, they cracked down on the dress code even harder (unless you're a thin, pretty, woman. Then you can wear whatever you want...). Management is way out of touch.

Pros

Wasserstrom has a strong core of long‑tenured associates, which speaks to both the stability of the company and the quality of the work environment. The average associate tenure is over a decade, and with more than 123 years in business, there is a deep sense of history, craftsmanship, and commitment across the organization. Many associates have built long careers here, contributing deep knowledge and a genuine willingness to mentor, collaborate, and support one another. One of the company’s unique strengths is the close connection between the corporate office and the shop floor. Having these teams physically and operationally connected creates strong alignment, real‑time collaboration, and a shared sense of ownership in the work being done. While the company values its traditions, it is also forward‑thinking and continues to invest in innovation, process improvements, and new ways of doing business. Turnover is low, associates take pride in what they build, and it shows in both the quality of the work and the overall culture. Leadership is approachable, teamwork is encouraged, and there is a clear emphasis on safety, consistency, and continuous improvement. Associates are given opportunities to learn, grow, and build lasting careers while contributing to a company that continues to evolve and innovate.

Cons

Because the company has many long‑serving associates and established processes, the environment may feel more structured or traditional for those who prefer constant change.
