      Pros

      Being an essintial function within the countries intrastructure this is a stable, never ending job. The cultuire of 'Servant Leadership' is continuosly present from the most senior throughout the entire company. The decentralized operations make each location unique but a total team mentality reigns supeme thru the entire company. Knowing that not just one pers, but everyone, has your back is rare. At Waste Connections this is a way of life every day. I have worked for this company for 20 years and honestly do not want to work anywhere else

      Cons

      Working in the waste industry is not the cleanest jobe there is. Working with solid waste in every aspect can be unpleasant at times.

      Pros

      Waste Connections truly knows how to take care of their employees! Management is great and super hands on. This type of culture is what you want to surround yourself with in a work environment.

      Pros

      Not many pros. Can’t think of any. People were nice at first but then they all got fired around me. Replaced countlessly.

      Cons

      If you are not part of “The Foot Hills” then you are already on your way out the door. This is a mafia within the company that lie to the cooperate level employees about wrecks, etc. if you aren’t part of the club and you tell cooperate the truth you get the boot.
