Pros

Water is one of the leading manufactures of test equipment in the medical, chemistry and pharmaceutical industries. The senior management is on top of the current issues in the industry and is competent in producing a cost effective, competitive and quality product. The company values its employees and you are always made to feel as though you are part of a team and that the work you do matters in the grand scheme of things. The work / family balance is great and when one needs time off it is usually not an issue. I would reccomend anyone seeing a job there to seriously consider it.

Cons

There were a few downsides while working at Waters. At times the duties of my job were laborious and time consuming. Some things that have been done a certain way for years are expected to always be done that way, at times when I wanted to try a new approach I was shot down and was told to just do it the way it has always been done. I found thisna little discoruoaging and annoying at times. Some of the managers spend too much time playing on the computer and chatting, it becomes a pain when you need to approach them for assistance on a project.

Pros

Local Global Opportunities if you're interested Hybrid (3 days office, 2 day home)

Cons

a. C-Suite is not trusted b. Poor leadership showing no compassion what so ever. c. HR is unapproachable and unavailable, even hidden behind hierarchy that makes it impossible to know who to call. That's the way they want it. d. NO work life balance... vacations, holidays, week-ends, nights, it's all on the table for some departments (not HR though). e. Long term employees who have contributed to the growth of the company are discarded or pushed to the side. You have to show your loyalty but don't expect it back.
