Pros

Good Gym facilities and relatively clean campus. Also, a good selection of food and variety at the 1 cafeteria open on site. The people contracted from Sudexo are a credit to the culinary industry and seem to genuinely care about the employees working there. OK benefits for now but don’t expect them to stay as the executives have shown no restraint in cutting 401k matches during the COVID pandemic.

Cons

Scrolling some earlier negative reviews, you may see a trend of former and current employees framing the culture of the company as of one of fear. It should be known that this is an understatement. There is almost 0 regard for work-life balance and you will be expected to stay and complete tasks way past normal hours to meet deadlines or face reprimand and consequences. Newer scientists have it especially hard as (unless you are somehow incredibly well liked by the senior employees/leadership staff) any question asked will be seen as a mark of weakness or a sign that you are incompetent at your job. Some of the senior employees have an air of smug abrasiveness to them that makes it difficult to work and talk with them. Speaking of upper management and leadership, their number 1 concern is making themselves look good to their superiors not genuine teambuilding or employee concerns. I have personally witnessed a senior scientist with over 20 years’ experience with the company outright DISMISSED by higher management in a general meeting when they brought up a genuine issue that was causing them roadblocks in their work. When the higher ups aren’t busy blaming their underlings for problems, they eat each other instead. It seems like that the only people that have advanced or have been promoted in this company are sycophants and yes-men who are willing to work their hair gray for their own self-aggrandizement.

Pros

Great coworkers who truly care about putting best foot forward and great technology.

Cons

Compensation has not kept pace with inflation, making it difficult to feel rewarded despite strong performance. * Career progression lacks transparency. Advancement opportunities are limited, and there are no clearly defined milestones or timelines for promotion in some functions. * Organizational priorities and direction frequently change, making it difficult to execute long-term strategies. Communication from senior leadership can feel disconnected from the realities of frontline employees. * The company has become increasingly top-heavy, with decisions often taking a long time to reach the people responsible for execution. * Incentive structures have become less competitive over time, which has negatively affected motivation and retention
