Pros

Golden is beautiful but the company is a joke.

Cons

They don’t care about lower level employees which are just a rotating door. They will hire you for your dream job but actually an old man has been doing that job for 30 years and they want you to fully train for that job they should pay you 5 times more for but instead call you a Chem tech and pay you bottom dollar. Also expect 90% of your time to be filling in for shipping and receiving or labeling bottles or helping out with the scut work because remember they just want you to be trained to fill in for old guys holiday breaks which are ample like 3+ months. But if you call in a couple times during the year they’ll admonish you because that’s bad policy even if you are never late on work, I was always so far ahead at my work I was almost only helping other groups out and they still tried to mess with me for calling out sick. While my supervisor took off every Wednesday to have with her kids, funnily she always had a fresh manicure on Thursday. This place is a joke for the new people and they just use and abuse you so the upper levels can have their cake and eat it to. They will never raise you up to the things you want to learn or the money you deserve to earn or the respect you deserve as a human. Also the higher ups order in lunch at least once a week for their admittedly pointless and repetitive meetings and will offer you the scraps so that’s a benefit I guess. Could probably raise a few wages with that budget but god forbid they miss out on their weekly burrito bar. Most people here wouldn’t pass chem 101 if sent back to class tomorrow so if you want to increase you chemical acumen search elsewhere.

Pros

Great coworkers who truly care about putting best foot forward and great technology.

Cons

Compensation has not kept pace with inflation, making it difficult to feel rewarded despite strong performance. * Career progression lacks transparency. Advancement opportunities are limited, and there are no clearly defined milestones or timelines for promotion in some functions. * Organizational priorities and direction frequently change, making it difficult to execute long-term strategies. Communication from senior leadership can feel disconnected from the realities of frontline employees. * The company has become increasingly top-heavy, with decisions often taking a long time to reach the people responsible for execution. * Incentive structures have become less competitive over time, which has negatively affected motivation and retention
