Pros

Decent work colleagues. Nice offices

Cons

This would be a great job, but I feel cheated and many I work alongside do as well The company has done great these past years. Sales, profits and share price are all at highs, but the treatment of employees that have created this sittuation through their hard work the past few years, has been shocking Over the past three years my cumulative annual pay rises added together are less than 1 decent pay rise, somewhere less than 3%. With inflation between 7-10%, I and everyone I work with have had either no pay rise or 1-2%. This has happened for 3 years in a row meaning everyone is significantly worse off than they were 3 years ago. On top of this we were asked to take -10% pay during covid and then didn't get it back when the company posted huge profits and the share price trippled You employees no longer care about the success of the company because of this. Change this or your company will start to fail as people simply leave or stop working with any conviction to the company

We strive to ensure that all employees at Waters feel valued for their perspective and contributions, are paid at or above market salaries and are afforded ample opportunities for career development and growth. That said, honest conversations about individual pay, performance and advancement should be happening directly with managers. A conversation with Waters HR is the next step if an employee believes they are not being properly compensated and/or rewarded for achieving goals and/or exceeding performance expectations.

Pros

Great coworkers who truly care about putting best foot forward and great technology.

Cons

Compensation has not kept pace with inflation, making it difficult to feel rewarded despite strong performance. * Career progression lacks transparency. Advancement opportunities are limited, and there are no clearly defined milestones or timelines for promotion in some functions. * Organizational priorities and direction frequently change, making it difficult to execute long-term strategies. Communication from senior leadership can feel disconnected from the realities of frontline employees. * The company has become increasingly top-heavy, with decisions often taking a long time to reach the people responsible for execution. * Incentive structures have become less competitive over time, which has negatively affected motivation and retention
