Pros

There are no pros to working here it’s absolutely terrible. I’ve never been made to feel so miserable at a job in my life. This place is really horrible. You are just a number here with no value no matter how much you do or care.

Cons

Management is clueless, spineless, and completely useless. This is a TOXIC work environment where no one likes each other or gets along. Management will not help you if “You see something, say something.” The back stabbing and gossip is endless. Lots of folks looking for better opportunities because our benefits keep changing for the worse. We lost time off in a new PTO policy, our pay periods are changing, and insurance costs keep rising. The Watts buy out of Bradley Corp took away the family values that once made this a great place to work. Overtime is not given to everyone, just the same few people continually. No cross training exists, you will come in and do the exact same thing with no rotations, so if you get put on a bad job get used to it cause you won’t be moved. Temporary workers have been working for almost an entire year without holiday pay, bonuses, or even heavy lifting line premiums, and all this without a solid job offer from the company. You will 100% be lied to and be taken advantage of by your line leaders and supervisors for their incompetence.

Pros

The only pros that I can say about Watts Water is that they are growing and continuously acquire new brands. I would say the PTO also isn’t as bad either comparable to other companies.

Cons

There’s no type of support or process documentation in place which is baffling since this company has been around for over a century. You have to jump through hoops and red tape in order to simplify or automate tasks. Also, management always wants control over things which can get frustrating. They don’t allow you to give ideas at all. They’ll state that they “hear you” but they don’t at all. Their systems are not the best whatsoever. Health insurance premiums are awful. They only offer HSA or PPO and the PPO is ridiculously expensive. I also feel like there’s zero culture. I was there for 12+ months and I barely knew management or coworkers on a personal level. Some departments are super siloed so it’s difficult to have conversations with people and get to know one another.
