Pros

Community donations are always good.

Cons

RUN! Everyone that can retire is retiring. Pretty soon the place will fold or relocate. Worst management they have ever had. The HR dept has turned over so many times the past few years. Don’t expect to see your kids grow up and attend any of their sporting events. Mandatory overtime is the norm. Empty promises, no internal growth. No one wants to move up the ladder. If you work for maintenance, don’t expect to be doing maintenance things, you will be forced to build valves. Even office workers are forced to build. There is no accountability. The dedicated employees are always expected to pick up the slack and do more! Too many red flags. Don’t waste your time. They will use you until your dead. Drive by the place, they have more money invested in Now Hiring signs than they do the place of business sign. The place is falling a part and they don’t care. The list just goes on and on. You couldn’t pay me enough to go back there. They tried. But my life outside of work is more valuable than working for this place.

Pros

The only pros that I can say about Watts Water is that they are growing and continuously acquire new brands. I would say the PTO also isn’t as bad either comparable to other companies.

Cons

There’s no type of support or process documentation in place which is baffling since this company has been around for over a century. You have to jump through hoops and red tape in order to simplify or automate tasks. Also, management always wants control over things which can get frustrating. They don’t allow you to give ideas at all. They’ll state that they “hear you” but they don’t at all. Their systems are not the best whatsoever. Health insurance premiums are awful. They only offer HSA or PPO and the PPO is ridiculously expensive. I also feel like there’s zero culture. I was there for 12+ months and I barely knew management or coworkers on a personal level. Some departments are super siloed so it’s difficult to have conversations with people and get to know one another.
