Wawa is a great place to work. All general managers are promoted from within. General managers are not hired from the outside. They must work there way up the ranks and learn all aspects of the business. There are many opportuines to move up within the company. You can move around from store to store if you wish or you can stay in one store for an extended period of time the choice is yours. Compensation is very competitive in this tough economic situiation. You are consistenly given feeback on your performance and given the opportuinty to shine above the rest. Senior Management is out in the field all the time and are very approachable
