Pros
With my years at wawa. It was my home away from home. As all companys you have some employees you click with and some you kind of dont but thats the perks of wawa you teach other to be a team and mostly a family. I could feel the company its self genuinely cared about me. They helped me in times of need and I gave them my all hoping to be someone one day to help others in need. They were very flexible with hours. They understand the meaning of not over working employees and that everyone has familys to go home to and a life outside or work to enjoy. The 401 and stock was my favorite, gives you something to work towards and look forward to. Over all I was happy with this company so much never thought I wouldnt be there today.
Cons
The new structure kind of put a curse on the whole this is a family not coworkers kind of business. The management was constantly changing never gave gms the oppurtunitys to help there employees grow. Alot of people before the structure became discouranged when it played out due to poor promoting. Loosing great employees because of poor management. Its a lovely companie to work for but to grow with can be stressful if your hard work is going unappreciated.
