Pros
I'm lucky to have a really compassionate manager and a great team to work with. I've been with the company for 3 years and make good money. Raises are always proportionate with my performance over the years. If you're serious about the job, it's relatively easy to get promoted and straight forward. They work very well with students, making sure you get the hours you need while still being able to attend school. Wawa has treated it's associates very well during COVID with additional hazard pay, free meals, and paid time off. We do comprehensive wellness checks at the beginning of each shift and take any potential risks very seriously.
Cons
As with any customer service job, the hours can be really crazy and when someone calls out of work, you feel the heat. It's a fast paced job and can be stressful at times, especially if you have a management team who is not skilled/you don't get along with.
