Pros

Perks besides your salary.

Cons

Let me give you the inside scope on this company since I worked there for almost 5 years. In the beginning when I first joined the company, everything was great since the CEO was still very much involved. As time went on and the CEO started to become less and less involved during the day to day operations, that is when the company started going downhill in my opinion. Most of the employees there are very young, in their early 20's I would say and these are the people that in management that have never had another job prior to this. Most of the employees there are hired fresh out of college so you more than likely will have an account manager working on your website with absolutely no experience besides the couple of weeks of "marketing boot camp" each new employee has to go through. When Covid hit, the many companies started to cancel their services with them because they could not afford the very expensive monthly invoices that they charge. During this same time my wife was pregnant and knowing I was about to have my first child, the decided to let me go for no good reason. They claim that I was talking bad about the company years prior which I never did at all. I was very, very faithful to this company during my time working here while other top companies were trying to steal me away, but I stayed loyal to them. Tell me what kind of CEO can just throw someone away knowingly they are about to be a father and need to support a family? That just shows how much the company really cares for their employees. However, everything happens for a reason I believe. I was immediately hired by one of the top marketing firms in the world and had the opportunity to work on enterprise Fortune 5 and Fortune 50 clients. This company was just outside of their non-compete radius of 300 miles from their office and by the way if you sign the non-compete with them, be prepared to look for a company to work for remotely or in the Atlantic Ocean, because their radius literally puts you in the ocean as an acceptable place to work from a distance from their office. A couple of more things you should be aware of if you are reading this: 1) They do not hire people from New York or New Jersey. Once those applications come in and they see you are from one of those states, you automatically get rejected and let me tell you why. People from those states such as myself (when I started there I was moving to PA from NY) are opinionated and are not "yes men". WebFX looks for people that will just do what management tells them to do and not ask any questions. 2) Their environment is that everything is rainbows and butterflies even when the client is not happy. They do not understand for some reason or have any realistic understanding that problems do happen. It is not about being negative it is about being realistic and god forbid, if you try to voice your opinion, ask a question, or not do what they tell you to do, you will immediately be on their radar ready to get the boot. 3) If you not part of their "clique" in the office, meaning you are not from PA, etc. be prepared to be on their radar to get the boot eventually as they will find any reason to get you out and unfortunately, the CEO only looks at one side of the story which is their side and will not hear your side.

Pros

Not going to sugarcoat it - the work is hard and the expectations are real. But the flip side is you actually learn things and move up if you perform. I went from jr to sr in a reasonable timeframe because the progression path is transparent and based on merit. FXLearns certifications, ongoing training, solid coaching. The office perks are a cherry on top - snacks, coffee, gym, standing desks. The StemFX scholarship program and charity initiatives make you feel like the work matters beyond revenue.

Cons

The pace is fast and you can fall behind if you don't focus. There's a lot of change - new tools, new processes, new initiatives rolling out constantly. Adapting is part of the job. I'd also say client work can be draining depending on who you're working with. Some clients are great, others... less so.

Pros

Wow! So many pro's,..Where do I start? Gotta say that the people here that I get to work with are just amazing. Each day I look forward to being here with them and overcoming any challenge together. At day one the positivity and care shown to myself, for each other, for our clients and for the common goal of the company is evident. Powered by positivity isn't just a slogan here, but a way of life that is infectious. That starts with a vision and great leadership from the top down. From the first tour through our campus, to our team celebrations and to our amazing company wide events I have been treated like family. The perks feel endless with our own in-house barista, food trucks, snack walls, fitness gym, kayaks, bikes, bring your pet to work desks and an awesome atmosphere designed for healthy productivity. All of this is located on a beautiful campus overlooking the Susquehanna river here in Central Pa. If your looking for a place that feels more than just a workplace and to be who you are. Would you be excited to grow along side incredible people towards a common goal and have a blast doing it this is the place for you! Speaking for myself it is the very best place I could have ever asked for employment and it feels like home.

Cons

I personally don't have any cons at the moment. I just grateful.
