Pros
Coming out of college, I had zero, and I mean ZERO experience in digital marketing as a communications major. Sure I had some classes that slightly covered the industry, but really had little knowledge. I am so glad WebFX took a chance on me, though! The training BootCamp really help set me up for a career here. Over my 4+ years so far, I've had the opportunity to advance multiple times. I think that's what I have most valued. WebFX truly starts at the entry-level with a path laid out for you in how you can grow as a professional. They pour back into the employees who are already working here and value that growth versus hiring outside of the company. If you put in the work towards your progression, you will be rewarded! I also honestly love all of the people who work here. I've made great friendships and have connected with my coach and teammates through events both during and outside of work. I went through a tough health scenario, and my coach and team were more than willing and so helpful when it came to taking on my work for the few days I was out. I've enjoyed every conversation with every FXer I've met! Cons
It can be a lot to learn in your first few months! This industry is one that changes a lot, so be prepared to take your learning mindset from college and apply it to your role. The talent team trusts that you ARE the right person for the role - I think it's like <1% of applicants get hired so yes, while it can feel overwhelming, know that you're here for a reason. There are a lot of high-achievers at WebFX!
