Pros

Nice people, remote, training was good

Cons

Quickly learned it was cold calling 75% of the day, talking to people who don’t want to be doing health coaching 15% of the day, and actually health coaching maybe 10% of the day. Calls are supposed to be between 5-10 minutes and the only goal is to make them set a goal. Very minimal health coaching. What you do throughout the day is always monitored so you must be on the phones all day. Most shifts are 10 hours long which makes for a long day on the phones. Monthly productivity is difficult to reach because it is out of your control if someone answers the phone or not. Productivity is also always increasing per month every year despite it already being difficult. There are some opportunities you can do in other areas of the business to give you a break on the phones, but it does not come with an extra pay. With the amount of outreach calls you place per day, you may as well go into a sales position that earns commission. Turnover rate is very very high. Pros: The people are nice, my managers were great, but a call center is not for everyone.
