Pros

WebPT has some seriously talented and passionate engineers. Coworkers care about each other, and pitch in to help each other often.

Cons

Management does not listen. They don't care. They pretend to listen but nothing ever changes. Teams get everything thrown onto their shoulders with no appreciation. There are about 2 Directors, VPs, or Managers to every actual engineer - and all of them think they are your boss. Moral tanked HARD in the last year - so many people quit, the culture there was has dissolved into chaos and priority scrambles. The pay is low, and people who raise concerns are dismissed. No middle managers have any power, even if they try to shield the team from the bureaucratic waterfall, they just get swept away and end up fired or quitting. Enjoy working at night if you take an engineering job here. The only reason any semblance of work life balance exists at WebPT is because your coworkers nearly work themselves ragged allowing you to take some time off. There used to be work life balance, but WebPT cant seem to staff teams, even when pleading with management for 2.5 years about how we were understaffed. Like I said previously, they pretend to hear you, but don't actually listen. They say they care, but they are just chasing numbers. The employees here are just tallies on a spreadsheet to upper management, nothing more. At least that's how it seemed.

Pros

Amazing team and culture who want you to succeed in your position. I have received ample training and have strong support each day in my role. Being a remote role is important to me; however, you need a strong and cohesive team for it to work. WebPT is all of that!

Cons

Being a fully remote role, this requires more time when learning/training as you are not sitting in the same office as co-workers. This affected me as I was changing careers. If you are not changing careers, this would not be an issue.

Pros

Some good people on the ground level and coworkers who genuinely try to help each other survive the environment. Decent experience if you’re brand new to SaaS sales and need resume experience.

Cons

Leadership consistently ignores employee feedback across both Account Management and Sales. Decisions are often justified using flawed or selectively presented data while unrealistic expectations continue to rise quarter after quarter. The company culture pushes the phrase “F up and own up,” yet leadership rarely takes accountability for internal operational failures, poor strategic decisions, unrealistic quotas, or the damage caused to teams through constant pressure and shifting expectations. PIPs feel inevitable rather than performance-based. Targets continue increasing even while larger market conditions and internal churn clearly show deeper problems. Management communication often feels passive aggressive, and trust between leadership and employees is extremely low. Compensation is below market value for the workload and expectations. The earning potential presented during hiring does not reflect reality for most reps. High turnover in sales is constant, and if layoffs are not happening, people are still leaving regularly. Until leadership changes course, the churn will likely continue.
