Pros
Leadership is smart, inspiring, friendly, approachable and supportive. Really great work coming from very talented staff. Rockstars can pave their own way. If you're well-liked, the company will invest your ideas as long as you can show how they build the business. Junior folks are very empowered. People are mostly treated like adults and management is hands off.
Cons
Infrastructure is messy, under resourced (Finance, HR and IT) and significantly behind the times. It's obvious to everyone and extremely frustrating to navigate. Compensation is notoriously low for an agency who's numbers are great. Sadly, this is true for even the strongest employees. Finance makes it very difficult to reward star performers. Under performers never seem to go away. You have to scream and fight to get anything approved by finance.
