Pros

Benefits the month after your start date. They were good to the employees during COVID

Cons

The job is basically a telemarketer with teller transactions thrown in. There are monthly goals so it pits each employee against each other. You have to make 10 calls a day usually to the same people you called the week before to sell bank products as well as trying to sell products to each customer in front of you. The branch I was in was a clique & I was an outsider the entire 2 plus years I was there. Everyone had been with the company for years and knew the customers so There was no way I could make my numbers. You can’t move to another position if your sales numbers aren’t good. I couldn’t wait to get out of there

Pros

None, a very hostile environment and I wish I had retired when I had the chance to.

Cons

So many! The middle office is a mess and staff are treated like children and spoken down to and looked down upon by many. We didn’t even get holiday greetings or a thank you from management. Just a tone deaf video from management showing themselves off on their yachts or in their fancy villa’s overseas. A complete overhaul of commercial services is needed, it’s just a toxic and disgusting environment, reminds me of my school days with abusive teachers back in the 1970s.
