Pros

Manager might get a good pay. Office hours. Off on holidays and weekends. Small office team. Nothing too much on the pro side.

Cons

Micro manage. Worst training ever. Hidden agendas. Doesn't disclose a lot of things. I have written everything i could to help in detail!! Pay: They say $13-18.. Another lie!!! A big one!! Watch the paperwork they make you sign before you get hired. It will say in real small letters $9/hr or commission after you make the minimum sales required hourly. Thats not regular sales its lawn care programs which is 400$ for a year which is lot. Don't forget they can lay off in 2 weeks if you are not selling. You are going to sign it so you cannot go back to them. Sales manager position: Think twice before you switch your current job if you are not familiar with lawn care industry. This position is basically you will have to hire anyone who can sell. There are too many things going on and management micro manage you because the will not stick to their own plan. The worst part is they train you not to tell Sales rep when you first call them to interview them, that its a call center position selling lawn care to people here!!! They mis interpret this position my calling it inside sales position on all jobs platform.. There is traveling involved which they never tell you!! Don't trap yourself like i did. Worst decision i ever took in my career to quit my long term happy job for this!!! This is an advice and Inside sales rep: You must be thinking just like everyone else that this is just a job like most of the dept. sales stores or shops??? Wrong!!!!! I would never call it an inside sales position. It is a call center position where you are dialing bunch of houses and selling them lawn care. You are calling hundreds of them everyday. The paid training is nothing but phd in lawn care and what tricks to use to sell. If you really want to see how this company is not truthful, see their job posting and try to find the word "CALLING" or "PHONE SALES". This is seasonal job with no benefits.

Pros

Great family-owned company to work for! Very personable and supportive management. There is a strong sense of teamwork, and everyone is willing to help when needed. I have appreciated the flexibility and opportunities to grow professionally.

Cons

The busy season can be demanding at times, so priorities can shift quickly, but that is to be expected in this industry, and they help provide support and make it easy to adapt!

Pros

Training is emmaculate and you meet some great people, at first it seems like Management is there to help you.

Cons

Low pay… starting people at $14 an hour plus commission is insane, and saying with the commission it will make up the rest is also insane, you’re required to call more than 300 people a day, for every day you don’t get a sale they pull you into Zoom which is really discouraging because even if you get 4 sales the day prior they really think you’re doing something differently & poking at you to give them an answer.. manager will blame you for their mistakes or the lack of information they provide but will snap at you for not knowing. You’d think selling lawn care should be easy and laid back but they make you do a bunch of homework for every call you make or take, filling out 3 sheets, if you sell someone you have to go through 18 confirmations with the client, make them state their name & put a card on file… for $14 an hour you’re asking people to do a lot.
