Pros
Data is interesting and the salary is decent
Cons
The company has been struggling for quite some time with it's vague business model. There is no one opinion of what wejo should actually be doing which means we have lots of people pulling in diffirent directions. Sometimes there was absolutely nothing to do and sometimes we were racing to meet ridiculous deadlines. At the beginning of 2020 we had a meeting with CEO and were told not to worry as the business is definitely solid and it's just growth pains. Then the corona situation happened and the company has shown it's true image. Sending half of techies to furlough and then sending risk of redundancy straight after. Contractual notice periods will not be respected, neither notice pay, which will be coming from furlough money (thanks HMRC!) at furlough rate, much lower than what people would expect. If a tech company is firing half the techies, who is going to work on the main product?
