Pros

Our team is very hardworking and supportive. I enjoy the people I get to work, feel a strong level of accountability, and "we're all in this together". The company is growing so it's a fun time to be here. WellSky is contstantly looking for ways to improve employee's satisfaction and work-life balance. They are also focused on retaining and promoting top talent, which makes it a great place to have a long-term career. The industry is booming so it seems like the sky is the limit.

Cons

As a fast-growing company, there are definitely growing pains. Many of the internal processes take longer than they should due to added inefficiencies and red tape. The work is fulfilling but it never stops so get ready to work really hard - you have to force yourself to take breaks.

Pros

The organization promotes a supportive and collaborative work environment where team members are approachable and willing to assist. The onboarding process provided a solid foundation and helpful resources that supported my transition into the role. Clear clinical guidelines and structured workflows help ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance in decision-making. The flexibility of the work environment supports work-life balance while maintaining productivity and performance

Cons

There are opportunities to enhance workflow efficiency; however, leadership is approachable and open to feedback, creating a positive environment for continuous improvement

Pros

If you are well-integrated into the local Kansas City office, it is a great environment with fantastic people. The company culture features fun office competitions, and the bonus structure was quite fair for a while.

Cons

For those brought in via the WellSky acquisition who work remotely, job security is low. Expect a 1-to-3-year window before layoffs hit, regardless of strong performance. The pattern typically starts with low-hanging fruit, followed by legacy leadership, and finally remote workers. Higher degrees offer some protection, and overseas roles are often phased out in favor of KC staff.
