Pros

Stable positions generally. Decent starting pay, Decent benefits (bcbs at a fair price), 4 weeks vacation after 3 years plus 3 floating holidays (down from 4 but more paid holidays were added in lieu). Great teams to work with. Work life balance seems to have improved since the first year of covid but also seems like this can vary wildly based on your team.

Cons

High turnover, low yearly raises despite high inflation. Execs seem to be more obsessed about the next aquisition rather than improving on existing team structure. Pretty heavy push on hiring mostly in office staff. They seem to like to have you do the next tier of job for a year or two before they even consider the promotion.

Pros

If you are well-integrated into the local Kansas City office, it is a great environment with fantastic people. The company culture features fun office competitions, and the bonus structure was quite fair for a while.

Cons

For those brought in via the WellSky acquisition who work remotely, job security is low. Expect a 1-to-3-year window before layoffs hit, regardless of strong performance. The pattern typically starts with low-hanging fruit, followed by legacy leadership, and finally remote workers. Higher degrees offer some protection, and overseas roles are often phased out in favor of KC staff.
