Pros

Decent benefits/PTO overall. You get a lot of holidays off.

Cons

Company is forcing people back to the office saying it is for “better collaboration” but they actually get a tax write off for having the building filled at a certain percentage. They are also building a new building even though the current building isn’t even full. They are making employees come back 5 days a week soon despite losing many employees. Our team has been short 2 people for months and we are drowning in work but they refuse to hire anyone due to a hiring freeze and when and if they do hire anyone for these positions they will not hire remote even though they are not getting qualified applicants locally. Upper management is only looking at metrics for performance and not taking into account that we are short staffed. The only thing management cares about is that we answer the customer calls and get comments on cases, not that we are actually taking cases and giving our clients good resolutions. Each person has about 30-40 cases at a time and we cannot keep up.

Pros

The organization promotes a supportive and collaborative work environment where team members are approachable and willing to assist. The onboarding process provided a solid foundation and helpful resources that supported my transition into the role. Clear clinical guidelines and structured workflows help ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance in decision-making. The flexibility of the work environment supports work-life balance while maintaining productivity and performance

Cons

There are opportunities to enhance workflow efficiency; however, leadership is approachable and open to feedback, creating a positive environment for continuous improvement

Pros

If you are well-integrated into the local Kansas City office, it is a great environment with fantastic people. The company culture features fun office competitions, and the bonus structure was quite fair for a while.

Cons

For those brought in via the WellSky acquisition who work remotely, job security is low. Expect a 1-to-3-year window before layoffs hit, regardless of strong performance. The pattern typically starts with low-hanging fruit, followed by legacy leadership, and finally remote workers. Higher degrees offer some protection, and overseas roles are often phased out in favor of KC staff.
