Pros

Matrix org., diverse solution and service breadth and depth by way of acquisition and development, well funded (TPG/Leonard Green), solid market strategy, Enterprise focus of interconnectivity, understanding of payer needs and new payment models.

Cons

Always changing (people, process, solution roadmaps, etc.), New sales leadership has ran good talent off, slow to backfill open cards (PE exit year so OPEX is scrutinized more heavily on savings for valuations purposes), acquiring 2-4 new companies ea. year which helps with offering more services and solutions, but that comes with the distraction of competing interests and budgets.

Pros

If you are well-integrated into the local Kansas City office, it is a great environment with fantastic people. The company culture features fun office competitions, and the bonus structure was quite fair for a while.

Cons

For those brought in via the WellSky acquisition who work remotely, job security is low. Expect a 1-to-3-year window before layoffs hit, regardless of strong performance. The pattern typically starts with low-hanging fruit, followed by legacy leadership, and finally remote workers. Higher degrees offer some protection, and overseas roles are often phased out in favor of KC staff.
