Pros

You'll have many of the tools needed to fully do your job. You can speak to any of their customers at will (but you do need to go through the proper channels). You can schedule time with sales/marketing to review their competitors and get a lot of information. Other departments are very nice and friendly when you need to interact with them. The PM I had before I left was really nice and awesome!

Cons

As a new employee, I was given several teams and several projects, which was much more than their seasoned analysts. This was quite overwhelming for me and had an impact on my health. It wasn't actually until I spoke up that some of the projects dropped off my plate and I was given only one team (which was much better). I also had a peculiar co-worker that would take credit for my work. If I developed a project plan or gap analysis, he would claim the work I did was his. I thought management actually believed him!

Pros

If you are well-integrated into the local Kansas City office, it is a great environment with fantastic people. The company culture features fun office competitions, and the bonus structure was quite fair for a while.

Cons

For those brought in via the WellSky acquisition who work remotely, job security is low. Expect a 1-to-3-year window before layoffs hit, regardless of strong performance. The pattern typically starts with low-hanging fruit, followed by legacy leadership, and finally remote workers. Higher degrees offer some protection, and overseas roles are often phased out in favor of KC staff.
