Cons
If you are looking to working for a company that will help you to grow professionally, Wellmark has a wonderful education reimbursement program and other opportunities. If you are looking to "get your foot in the door" and hope to promote you will need to either be extremely patient (talking years, many, many years) or get at least 4 years of experience someplace else in a position and then apply. You can increase your education while there, but you should probably be prepared to get the experience someplace else as Wellmark hires from the outside (for turnkey employees) rather than growing their own from the inside. You can't beat the educational reimbursement, just plan your path carefully and be ready to make the change when you complete your program. Wellmark does not allow for "work from home" flexibility.
