Over-saturated with corporate b.s. at a level far more extreme than anywhere else. Work harder than all else, paid less - Bank Teller Wells Fargo Employee Review

Pros

Benefits, some cool people work there depending on where you are, safe and consistent with guaranteeing hours and a structure to move up

Cons

Unbelievably full of corporate b.s., Get rated and observed multiple times daily by service managers and other employees. Tons of acronyms that need to be followed as a symbolic guide of how to do your job and "exceed expectations." Rigorous sales and service platform which is designed so that even the stupidest person in the world who follows it will do at least o.k. Same platform which dictates almost every word you speak to a customer in your brief interactions applied across the entire continental U.S., at each location and with each customer. It is a sales job, to the surprise of many who apply. Some people just want to get in and out and don't want to chat or get sold a bunch of products and services, but you use the same platform with each person or you get "feedback" to explore your "opportunities" of how to perform better customer service (i.e. using their name 3 times, building rapport, makings a sales recommendation with each customer)

Pros

Benefits (but cost creeping up and coverage creeping down each year), Good Morale Both Management and Coworkers, and Honestly a Great Company.

Cons

Cross Selling is the only focus now, firing employees who are great at their job in every area that should matter but if the cross selling results are not meeting the ever ridiculous quota (which continues to rise) than you may not have a job next month. Expectation for customers to say yes to cross selling, leaving you with no real control of your job security. Stress!
