This is a very tight knit group where people are treated with respect and everyone is always willing to help even if it isn't "part of their job". They have great benefits.
Cons
Cold calling prospective customers is the worst part of this job, the banking industry has become very desperate for revenue and competition is heating up among other major banking establishments that working for a bank in this day and age you will need to be an excellent sales person and push products on people and call people to set appointments with you on a daily basis. Even still, making sales doesn't guarantee a commission and often bankers struggle to reach the plateau where they are able to make a small quarterly bonus. If you thrive on high volume sales and cold calling this is the job for you.
