If you value personal time, this may not be the place for you. - Underwriter Wells Fargo Employee Review

Pros

MY department is very relaxed and we work unsupervised. There is a lot of trust and freedom to allow us to do our work. The benefit package as a whole is one of the best I have ever seen. The pay is decent, only slighly under area/industry average for same job.

Cons

There is no work/personal life balance. The "generous" PTO is worthless unless you have been in your department for 10 + years. Don't expect to be allowed to have any time off around ANY holiday, not just Thanksgiving & Christmas, during your first 5 - 10 years. It is approved by seniority and a ridiculously low number of employees can be out at one time, regardless of how low the volume of work is. If you are like me and this is the ONLY benefit you use or time off is what you value most, then this is something you will want to discuss and learn about BEFORE you take the job.

Pros

Benefits (but cost creeping up and coverage creeping down each year), Good Morale Both Management and Coworkers, and Honestly a Great Company.

Cons

Cross Selling is the only focus now, firing employees who are great at their job in every area that should matter but if the cross selling results are not meeting the ever ridiculous quota (which continues to rise) than you may not have a job next month. Expectation for customers to say yes to cross selling, leaving you with no real control of your job security. Stress!
