They take care of the patients, but not the professionals who work there. - Pharmacist Wellstar Health System Employee Review

Pros

I had some great co-workers over the time I was there. At one time, it felt like a family.

Cons

Upper level management can be vindictive and tolerates bullying by midlevel management. HR is not your friend. Senior management response to minor and major problems is knee-jerk; the mantra is "just keep it out of the media." Resources are wasted by hiring consultants to tell them what their well-educated employees have already said. The "family friendly/ Working Mother culture is not carried through the workplace. I had a manager who told me, essentially, to get a nanny for my school age children because "that's what I did." Upper level management will stab you in the back if it makes them look good.

Great pay, and the hours were guaranteed. The job itself was fairly easy, and my coworkers were kind and helpful.

None . Overall great place to start at if you’re interested in healthcare

Pros

Most techs are hardworking. Standard benefits package.

Cons

High employee turnover due to a lack of trust and psychological safety. Upper management focuses on policing minor processes rather than supporting strategic growth. Feedback from staff is rarely implemented, leading to low team morale.
