Very poor treatment of long term employees - Analyst Wellstar Health System Employee Review

Pros

It is a place to work

Cons

No work-life balance. Bonuses to regular employees are based on customer service in the emergency department which the other departments have no control over. Bonus is supposedly a max of $750 but all system employees are receiving $84 for the yearly bonus, Cobb hospital employees get $64, Douglas employees get $300, not exactly fair especially when upper management gets thousands in bonuses. The benefits are a joke, very expensive and terrible service. The IT department in particular is a nightmare. Employees are resigning on a weekly basis and no one cares. Going to H.R. is a sure way to get targeted and there are no employee advocates. Employee surveys are sent out and the results speak volumes but management just puts teams in a room and berates them for the poor scores. Been there 12 years and it is worse now than I have ever seen by far. No oversight anywhere. The foxes run the hen house.

Pros

Most techs are hardworking. Standard benefits package.

Cons

High employee turnover due to a lack of trust and psychological safety. Upper management focuses on policing minor processes rather than supporting strategic growth. Feedback from staff is rarely implemented, leading to low team morale.
