Pros

The managers are fine. Work from home until at least the end of 2020. CEO seems fine but disconnected.

Cons

Absolutely no benefits, two sick days a year. Health insurance is garbage. Get treated like contractors on a W2 position. Without all of the benefits of being a contractor. ZERO job security. Houston location just laid off 120+ people, half of their work force. Previous year they laid off about the same amount. If you take a job here you should still be interviewing around. Would blame the pandemic but they did the same thing last year before the pandemic. Just see this as a temporary job, get the experience and move on asap. Rules are ridiculously strict and up to the whims of the client. Guidelines are often not updated and you can get three different answers from three different managers. Which would be fine if everything was up to opinion but there are strict standards in place from your first day that can get you fired during training just because a client didn't like your answer on something. Outside of these projects- recent layoffs were based on managerial favorites under the guise of statistics. People hitting their appropriate numbers every day, were laid off.

Pros

Fully work from home job

Cons

Work-life-balance (the way tasks availability works makes it so that you have to stay home most of the day to get hours) Pay (the pay is not competitive at all) Poor management (little to no communication and frequently overhiring, which adds to the lack of available work) Benefits (benefits are only available if you work a certain amount of hours per year, even if they do not have tasks available frequently) Vacation time (vacation time is awarded similarly to the way benefits work. Therefore your vacations are lessened by when task availability decreases) Lack of clarity (company stages meetings under the guise of transparency, but do not address worker concerns, up to and including concerns over lack of work) Mass layoffs (company does mass layoffs frequently, sending out termination emails to multiple employees at once periodically, which adds to general stress and uncertainty about job stability)
