Pros

Benefits were good. I liked my managers and directors Working with very smart industry veterans Pay was fair for permanent employees The Peoples Success team tried their best considering the environment.

Cons

It’s loc. Our industry is changing so many of the cons such as reduced staff and career stagnation are due to external factored but new leadership was rather uninspiring.

Pros

Used to be years of steady part time work with decent communication with management and clear expectations. We had performance bonuses, PTO, benefits and a pretty good employee morale overall. I also found the diversity to be refreshing. These were the good old days.

Cons

About two years ago, the company started to go downhill. They started with first taking away all of our PTO (for states that would allow it), and then took back already earned PTO after a certain date. Then, work stopped flowing to raters and there was zero transparency about it. The expectation was that we are to continue to log on and work, but yet we'd 'go to work' every day to find long periods of time (ie. days to weeks) with zero work to perform. To quell the communication between us about this, they eliminated our ability to communicate with each other through Viva Engage. Then, every and all question had to go through Zendesk; no more communication with your team manager directly. Then came waves of indiscriminate firings with zero notice under the guise of poor performance metrics. What they want is for you to sit at your computer and refresh until a task pops (refresh for free, not paid, for hours potentially) and if you don't you will eventually be fired because there is some poor desperate soul who will refresh for 6 hours straight to work one task that pays about 10 cents. Some people had tasks in their queues, others didn't. If you didn't get tasks for some reason--your problem, because you will be fired for not sitting around waiting for them. If you are away from your desk and there is an email notice of a "task drop" and you aren't fast enough to get there and logon, too bad. It's wild.
