Pros
They are willing to work around your schedule. It's good experience in a fast-paced environment. It is a good place to learn teamwork skills. The We Learn training videos are very helpful in making sure people get the same training as everyone else, and there is no mystery in what needs to be done.
Cons
The system is set up where individual gm's get recognition for their own store's success, which leads to a reluctance to promote their best people to management. It is incredibly demoralizing to see every manager cutting corners, yet expecting a perfect performance from crew members. Positive feedback is rare, yet negative runs rampant. There is favoritism, so it helps a whole lot to get the managers to like you. There can be conflicting messages, for example: We need to be faster than our competition vs. We are going to continue to add/modify products to make them more time consuming (go wraps, salads being made as they are ordered, etc.)
