Pros
Some good co workers can make the time go by faster. Steady paycheck. It's local, so I don't have to spend my whole pay check on gas to get to work.
Cons
Not enough pay for the amount of work you do. Unless you're one of the managers pets. The responsibilities of lazy co workers, get shoved on the hard working ones. Schedule is hardly ever made out before the week ahead, have to call often to see if you have to work that day. Schedule is not as flexible as they say, afraid to ask manager for specific time off. Little to no recognition of good hard work. Working 8.5 hrs. straight with only a one 30 min. unpaid lunch break. Working split shifts. 3-4 hrs. in the morning then 4-5 hrs at night. Noisy. Timers going off at all times. Work/Life balance sucks, expected to be sitting by the phone whenever manager needs you. It's often difficult to make plans for yourself due to schedule not being made out.
