Pros
coworkers are friendly when your new as long as you dont step on their toes. clean environment, inspections in 98-85 range. boss tries to work around hardworking employees schedules. i did get a 15 cent raise after about 7 months, most employees did get some.
Cons
minimum wage with the occasional raise. ( 7.40) shift managers make about 8-8.50, the GM i have no idea but it couldnt be more than 12. If your consistently late, dont stock your stuff/complete work, huff a box of cans, walk out, steal, lie, and purposly cause problems- theyll probably keep you there unless your Seriously asking for it. they dont have a set training program, so newbies learn things wrong and dont complete tasks. I have been called foul names by a new employee right in front of a line of customers, constuled the assistant manager and she pretty much told us to stay away from each other. this girl was pregnant and kept verbally abusing me when it wasnt needed, they said, shes going on maternity leave soon.. very proffesional. to my knowledge none of the managers there have a degree or any professional business training expect the newest manager, which is also the youngest and they cant even use the excell program without that person. they try to give you breaks when labor is high to save the owners money. the GM will help make morning rush sandwiches without gloves on. shes probably clean, but thats against healthcode, and your setting an example for your employees. oh and if shes in a mood, shell be a witch to you alll day.
