Pros
One of my favorite things about West Bend is the ability to grow within the company. Professional development is supported and encouraged, and there is a ton of opportunity to try other things; if you don't like a role, you're not stuck, and the company will help you find a fit. Another great thing is the internal conferences, both for lines of business and IT. A great investment is made every year in the learning and continuous growth of West Bend's associates. Growth at West Bend is also not along a sequential career ladder, but rather a matrix, where you can decide what your interests are and move along different career growth paths. To me, corporate culture is the most important aspect of considering a place of employment, and I can wholeheartedly attest to the amazing culture we have at West Bend.
Cons
There are some areas of immaturity in the company, in terms of processes, but I feel like employees' best interests are still at heart.
