Pros
Good PTO policy - if you take time off, it's usually respected Rank and file employees are excellent. Your manager genuinely cares about your performance, growth, and life. Teams are helpful and have your best interest in mind. No shortage of mentorship and growth opportunities, especially as the company grows. Good WLB. You can generally have a life outside of work without too much difficulty.
Cons
Compensation will not grow nearly as fast as competitors'. There was a market adjustment 9 months ago and leadership will use that for the next year to underpay everyone. Extreme cultish behavior from people who have received large payouts. The culture is shoved down your throat, and if you disagree with anything the leadership team says/does, you are ostracized by the cult. Firm values are out the door as soon as potential profits present themselves. The firm harps its values, which at one point were at the core of everything it did. Now it's all about profits and money, very little of which makes its way down to the rest of the firm. The evaluation process is completely broken, with performance rendered secondary to how close you are with partners and directors. Be prepared to make the firm your life if you are an experienced hire looking to rise. A lot of these cons stem from growth that has been too rapid. I interned here and it was a noticeably different company with approachable leaders and a tight-knit culture. Now it has transformed into one that takes itself far too seriously and has thrown its values out the window in a search for growth and profits.
