Pros
People are friendly and generally helpful. Managers are generally open to allowing consultant level employees to take on more responsibility.
Cons
Work is not strategy-focused and most projects require little to no actual "analysis". You will likely be staffed on either software selection projects or technology implementation. Neither of which will really set you up well experience wise for an MBA if that is what you're seeking in the future. You are much more of an IT consultant than a management consultant, so beware if you are more interested in topics like sourcing, engineering standards, process optimization, or even big data strategy. If you are a full stack developer, consider working at a tech firm vs. consulting, because you will get more interesting applications than web portals. The analytics practice does primarily data warehousing and reporting, so very seldom will clients look to you for insights or recommendations.
