Pros
Benefits are decent. There’s still a contingent of people who want to do good.
Cons
I’ve been at West Monroe for a decade and it appears the firm has finally fallen into a death spiral - good people are leaving, which requires everyone else to shoulder more, which burns them out, which means they leave, which requires everyone else to lean in… It’s been more than 4 years since I’ve had any kind of formal training - the only training I’ve received has been “go watch this LinkedIn learning video!” This is true firm wide, which means that not only am I feeling underinvested in, so is everyone else - nobody knows how to succeed in their role. New organizational goals and structures mean elbows are sharper and increasingly people look to push you down so they can get ahead. A once cooperative workplace has become a toxic competition. I’m so burned out. I’ve been trying to forgive this place, been trying to make it work. I want to want to work at West Monroe. But I’ve hit a breaking point. This is a toxic workplace.
