Pros
Great work environment at every office, very flexible, employees are pretty nice. Great benefits for people that are actually "EMPLOYED", cool employee perks like discounts at certain stores and restaurants and entertainment. Many employee socials sponsored by different companies throughout the year.
Cons
WestRock has almost the same amount of contractors as they do employees. To actually become a permanent employee from a contract position is nearly impossible now, it's ridiculous and crazy because it actually cost less to employ people permanently than it does to hire contractors. Salary does start of low but as you do great work your pay will usually increase. It's also very hard for minorities to move up. There is a handful of minorities holding management positions. We just got our first African American woman vice president. I guess they took notice of some complaints. Let's see if we get anymore diversity among the hire-ups.
