Pros
Good benefits and you can buy a week of vacation. If you are hired as a grade 16 or higher you will probably be happy in MWV because the higher grade you are the more you get paid and the less you have to work. Once you hit vice president you have it made.
Cons
No respect for the individual although it is one of the company's 4 important values. Everyone in the leadership is looking out for themselves only and how they can make more money and climb the ladder. They care little about the people making little money and they have no desire whatsoever to help a department that works so many extra hours with low salaries. They promote career development but in reality not much of that is going on. Hiring a person or two would show the leadership team cares, but they dont. Instead they keep paying lots of money to the ones that work very little. Recently the company had lay offs and many of them should have never been hired to start with as they obviously were never needed. Lots of manual non-automated processes due to SAP implementation. Little or no opportunties for anyone grade 14 or below. Lower grade employees seems to be thought of as transactional machines rather than humans with great growth potentials. Finally your yearly review is often just to tell you what you did wrong during the year and all the great things you did are hardly mentioned at all. This way they can limit your raise and bonus. This depends on who your manager is and what style they have.
