Pros

Pay is best around for people who don't have degrees. Actually can live a decent life. That doesn't mean I agree with the rate. It needs to be better yet.

Cons

They took the double time away. No incentive or compensation to work the hours they demand. 24/7 operation, forced overtime up to 16 hr days for 3 days, then 12 hrs on 4th day and 16 hrs for the next 3 days. Force in early, and force out late. They own you 20 hrs a day, everyday. No scheduled breaks, no scheduled lunch. If you're not running, you don't break until you are running. Eat while you work. Be careful what you wish for when you think you want a new GM. They only get worse. You work your butt off only to line their pockets. You are expendable. It's their way or you hit the road. HR is all company, doesn't care about production employees. They fire Foreman, because they're not doing their job if they're not writing someone up. Tense people, low morale. A lot of Co-workers are hateful, spiteful, and vindictive. Hate the job, but appreciate it at the same time. Hard to leave the pay check.

Pros

Great pay, easy work, plenty of hours.

Cons

Some of the people who work in the warehouses are lazy and they have the so called manager wrapped around their finger, So you end up doing their job and yours. The manager won’t do anything because he is just as lazy as the warehouse guy. And is scared of the consequences if he actually does his job and disciplines the sorry ———‘s So the real workers are the only ones that suffer. That very manager told me two weeks before becoming the manager over the shipping department that he didn’t think he would become the manager because he had already told the other managers that we have to stop over working our real workers to cover up for our non workers. I told him that night he would be the same way as soon as he got the position, And if he did that I would be the first to tell him. Point being: If you are a lazy piece of trash and have no self respect or work ethics this is the place for you. Bad thing is that you can not get in touch with anyone that has any interest in cleaning up (this particular terminal ) of a very good company.
