Pros

This position specifically is specific. The line department takes care of their own and the flexibility is great for this entry level job and schedules allowed students to continue their education and do a full time job or two.

Cons

WheelsUP is a growing company and it takes a quick google search to see that they are financially struggling. They have a brand new operations center that has been filled with low experience people half the country away. This creates miscommunication and headaches when aircraft show up unannounced, flight crews expect certain things to be completed before their departures and we only hear about it 5 minutes before leading to rushing and frustration. I can't speak for operations or flight crews and their experience but for line service the Inexperience is apparent.

Pros

Base cash compensation is above average. Work-life balance can be good as well, depending on the team.

Cons

Some teams are led by toxic managers, and your experience can become very difficult if you end up on one of those teams. Management may appear supportive on the surface, but periodic layoffs create ongoing uncertainty.
