Pros
Fantastic people. There were always seminars and talks within the company we were encouraged to pursue, and any questions posed in chat or asked in email afterward were always answered thoughtfully, even by executives personally.
Cons
I worked in a special expertise niche. Because of this I did not have others in my particular skill set to discuss things with or guide my work. The other person with similar knowledge was very busy and older, and not easily approachable for advice/assistance. As a result, the manager did not have a strong background to discuss and help structure my work. So when issues arose with client desires, they did not have the knowledge to either help me streamline my work, nor convey the validity of my practices to the client. So the client saw uncommunicated and arbitrary deliverables unfulfilled, and my manager was not able to advocate for my work ablely in response.
