Pros

If you have a desire to drive a truck and work very hard Willow Run is great. They will train you and pay you about 900 dollars per week. You will also be out 2 nights then home 2 nights on average.

Cons

If you have zero truck driving experience they do not take much extra time to help you. I had just a few hours in a truck before they sent me out to start driving on a real route with a licensed driver.

Pros

They will hire anybody if you need a job to get you started in trucking. Generally speaking the trucks are in good condition. If you would like to learn to shift they should e people who can teach you. Their medical benefits are actually pretty good.

Cons

They push for you to very frequently go over on time and they will fix your logs from an administrative account. Heavy traffic isn’t a reason to be running, if you fall too far behind you end up losing a large chunk of pay for the run. There’s a guy in payroll who seems to get enjoyment out of taking that money off your check. I found it very challenging to work there. They promise good pay for the job, a hard job, and more often than not I made half that. They also wanted me to sign paperwork saying I was the one who had made changes to my logs and that they had never asked me to do anything against fmcsa rules. They were pretty aggressive with that.
