Pros
Benefits are great and you get an employee stock program as well as 401k. Health care is very affordable. Most managed are great and it's not a hard place to get advancement if you work hard. 6 month employee appreciation bonuses and gift card for winco for winter holidays.
Cons
Management can make or break a dept. Or store. The heavy focus on labor and hours leads to chronic understaffing and employees being overworked as well as management often has little concern for employee well-being and let's freezers become hazardous with ice covering the floor in parts. Favoritism can be rampant and management often employs policy unequally among employees.
