Pros
I have worked for Winn for just over 2 years, and love it. The company is progressive and always striving for improvement. There is a focus on employees at both the regional and corporate levels. A large company where people know your name and a dedicated regional team that is very active with their team. The company has great guiding principals that are used in all decisions. These guiding principals focus on excellence, people (employees, residents, and clients), safety, and ethics - which make these a great tool for making good decisions. The company is ever changing and working to be the best at what they do. While residential property management is their bread and butter, they also work on some multi housing development and have a niche in affordable housing (a leader in this field). A very patriotic company with a division in military housing - very supportive of our military and their families. This is a company that "gets it".
Cons
Winn's demands for its employees are a lot. If you work for Winn, you are VERY busy and there is little to no down time. The expectations at every level are more than other property management companies and the work can be very challenging. But if you can maintain the pace and juggle the demands, Winn will reward you. You will be doing more and know more when you work for Winn. But this pace and workload is not for everyone.
