Pros
Winn is a great company to work for. We are more like family in many respects. I regularly talk and laugh with colleagues outside of work. We do work hard but the company also gives a generous amount of time off from day one to allow for a healthy work-life balance. They regularly conduct pay surveys to make sure we are at the top of the industry for compensation. Many are promoted from within the organization allowing for avenues of growth potential. The company has systems in place that allow associates to voice their opinion and have their voice heard with both constructive and positive feedback.
Cons
As a company, we serve people and families who live in our homes and we provide service around the clock. The tub in the apartment above never seems to overflow but at the darkest hour of the night. As a result, we respond to these emergencies and do our best to service these requests and that can translate to some long days at times. Management does monitor hours so that associates are not burning themselves out and gives us many many days off to decompress.
