Here’s the deal, it’s been quite some time since I worked here but I see the job postings and what makes, My blood boil, is the rents they charge is ridiculously high. This company brings in millions and pays their staff unlivable wages. They pay leasing agents not far above minimum wage and the job is NOT an easy job. You’re doing sales and operations, heavy admin work, high expectations from corporate, this is not a minimum wage job. Your leasing staff in California should make at least $60k base . When I worked there, we did not get bonuses or commissions. I got out of multi family and transition to senior living sales which is a very similar job and I’m making well over $100k now. My base salary is $90k and I average 20-30k in commissions each year. The rents Winn charges is close to my assisted living communities so the company is very well funded … managers get better pay and allowed to live on site in large apartments for free . No housing benefits for leasing staff who make nothing …. Job seekers need to start demanding higher wages
