The culture is terrible and they are not equitable. There is a lack of diversity and the real benefits come from being at the top or being close to people at the top - not so much from hard work. Unless you are white, and more so if you are a white male.
Their diversity does not come from HQ, where there are barely any people of color. The people of color work at the property level - property management, maintenance workers, leasing agents, etc. They like diversity when it suits their agenda, like "asking" you to show up to a meeting with external folks who are POC to be their show pony.
The gossip there is insane. It's like being in high school all over again, but worse because it impacts your pay and growth. You could do an amazing job and take on a larger workload, but if someone gets in the LT's ear about because you may have upset them, its over.
During the pandemic, admin were expected to go in the office so upper management could stay home. Regardless of any of their circumstances.
